The attendance was about 2000.<br /><br />There was nearly an earlier Garcia appearance here, as an Acid Test was scheduled for Pauley. At the last second, it was canceled and moved (I think the University figured out what it was). I forget the exact date, but it was February/March 1966.<br /><br />I'm pretty sure that Pauley Ballroom at UC Berkeley was actually named after Edwin Pauley's son, who donated the money himself.Corry342https://www.blogger.com/profile/08049035074121231425noreply@blogger.com
