Named after college President Eugene Wilkins, who retired in 1969.
For nearly 45 years, the majority of Kean University's biggest shows have used Wilkins Theatre as its hosting venue. The Kean Stage Series holds a plethora of concerts, musicals, lectures, comedies, and dances that use Wilkins as their home base each year. The shows are always fresh and vibrant, but Wilkins is becoming fairly antiquated. It's time to say "out with the old and in with the new," because like many things in life, it's always best to stay up to date.(1)
